What Did Students Do?
Students watched videos and listened to/read stories about Terry Fox. They shared facts and information they already knew and discussed new things they learned. Students wrote a paragraph on what they knew about Terry Fox and connected it back to The Magical Yet. They then created a visual journal page with an illustration that connected to Terry Fox and some facts they learned about him. On Friday, students participated in The Terry Fox run. A special thank you to all grade five students who helped Mr. Newman with our 2024 Terry Fox run!
