Social Studies
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the people and the stories of Canada and their ways of life over time, and appreciate the diversity of Canada’s heritage.

What Did Students Do?
This week, students engaged in work connected to National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Students learned about the purpose of Land Acknowledgements. We learned about the meaning of words such as acknowledge and reconciliation.

-to tell you more about their Orange Shirt Day artwork
-to tell you about ordering numbers. What steps help them to accurately place numbers on a number line?
-to tell you more about the climate zone that they find the most interesting.
-to tell you more about the weather topics they have been learning about science.
